Very sad but fortunate that they were caught becuase by showing up at the house, they intended to do something with the underage child and it probably wasn't to "talk" with them. The rabbi supposedly worked with youth programs (!!) and there was at least one teacher caught as well. While it ruins their careers and perhaps lives, it is necessary to avoid greater damage to those who are molested.
