What about the Log Cabin Republicans? They were financially a strong group and also helped in campaignign, etc.
so if a Republican is gay, the Republican party doesn't want them? That seems dumb to me....Cheny's daughter is lesbian and she has helped on the Republican campaigns.

Jim Kolbe from Arizona is gay, and he keeps gettng re-elected, and the fact that he's Republican-and-gay doesn't bother me in the least, probably because he doesn't wear his sexuality on his sleeve, so to speak, and you don't hear about him chatting it up with teenage boys on the internet.

I don't think Cheny's daugther is sending emails and lude candygrams to young women. She has an adult partner.
IMHO, it's not his sexuality that's at issue, it's that fact that he's a cyber child molester.
I'd have Mary Cheney watch my kids any day, but I'd bolt at the thought of Foley even stepping to my front door...but then he's got the internet.
God only knows what else is on his hard drive....no pun intended!

Log Cabin Republicans lobby specifically for "gay" rights. They are Republicans primarily to promote "gay" rights, not to promote the conservative agenda.

This is not about being gay, or about being anything. It is about acting. It is about soliciting sex on the Internet with an underage Senate Page.
