TX-22 is different because in Texas the voters have to write in Sekula-Gibbs name, so the idea is for them to see her on the ballot to alert them of the need to write her in and to show them the spelling. In FL-16 all the voters need to know is that the vote for Foley is really a vote for whoever.
And, BTW, I personally think the TX-22 special election was an equally bad idea. I think some voters will skip writing Sekula-Gibbs thinking they already voted for her. In fact, what makes it ultra-stupid is that under Texas law a list of the write-in options will be in every voting booth. They don't need the extra 'hint' on the ballot.
Well, she gets to spend Christmas in DC, and see the sights, and if she is lucky, even attend a lame duck session.
