foley's district has to be considered a strong GOP district, since the last empirical data, we all have(the 2004 election) shows that foley won that district with 67% of the vote.

If the Pubbies can find a good candidate, I think they will hold on to that seat, despite your usual gloom and doom AG.

And this is politics, there will be many who want to run for that seat.

We are talking about the scenario where Foley's name remains on the ballot, not whatever it is you're talking about.
