My momma taught me when I was just a wee lad that such personal questions are rude.

True

But today many are in your face so you don't have to ask!

Hey, if they're coming into my store to buy something, I don't care. Now, that's diversity. Anyone was always welcome to give me money for goods or services. Amazing how well that worked.

You're right, though. Lots of people declare their affiliations on their clothing, their hats, their cars, and other places. They're in your face all the time with that stuff.

I never minded when someone came into my business with a "Jesus Saves" T-shirt, even though I'm an atheist. They were welcome to shop there.
