It does seem that some dogs are just being shot for the sheer fun of it, or because of the feeling of power it gives.Power over the terrified, unarmed civilian (as they've taken to calling The Rest of Us), not the dog. Like that weird incident in TN in 2004 (?) where the father left his wallet on the top of his car after pumping gas. For some reason, the cops that flagged down his vehicle chose to perceive the dropped wallet as sign of a possible kidnapping, and when the dog got out (and the tape of the incident clearly has the terrified family pleading with the police NOT to open the door because of the dog) they blasted the dog . He looked playful and frisky on the tape, not menacing. I believe that cop was punished with a few weeks paid vacation suspension.

That's why I should start the website exposing all of the cruel, evil monsters that do things like that. I saw the video of the cop killing the dog for no reason. He should have his face on a website and be publically shamed for the rest of his life.

The pet-killing is simply a means of terrorism.
