It's more absurdist than any novel, play or television show in history. Douglas Adams would have been baffled by it.

Their definition of succeeding in life is having wealth (and maybe but not necessarily a job) handed over to them with no strings attached. Since that's what Democrats promise them, you can see why they'd be looking for things like reparations.
