Cassidy was interviewed on KOA radio (biggest AM station in Denver) today. He told told the whole Denver metro area that he had made up the original story but he came to know that he could not live with the lie. He sounded very sincere. I am inclined to cut him some slack given the situation.
Wed. I was catching grief for not "heroing" enough:') Give the kid a break. He didn't have to fess up. I wouldn't have put my son back in front of the cameras either.
