"Too little testosterone is bad, too much is bad but the right amount is perfect," said Barbara (Goldilocks & the 3 Bears) Ehrlich of Yale University in Connecticut, who led the study.

What I find interesting is that the researchers neglected to mention that testosterone actually converts directly to estrogen in males.
It is the only way that estrogen is "made" in the body in males.
I seriously question the science behind this, especially since there is conflicting science and the levels of exposure to testosterone are not mentioned.

"We were surprised, but it actually looks like estrogen is neuroprotective. If anything, there is less cell death in the presence of estrogen," she said. Let me get this straight. If I take estrogen I most likely won't get Alzheimer's and the only side effect will be boobs?

So the previous study said men are smarter than women, now this states the male hormone which differentiates men is bad.
I bet this study will be misreported and misconstrued in the extreme.
Then again what else is new from the AP, misreporting is standard procedure for the AP.

Too much testosterone has known medical consequences, including male pattern baldness. It is also a fact that men who are castrated do not suffer this malady even if it's in their family.
What's yer hair worth, fellers?
To: Pharmboy
I'd guess about half the population in the world had come to that conclusion already.
