So Mr. Meacham, does this mean President Bush gets to run again in 2008 since according to you he was only elected to one term so far?
Hey, he should be able to run in 2008 and 2012 since they believe there were some "irregularities" in Ohio!
Oh, how I wish I'd have had the foresight to tape that interview I saw on television just before the 2000 election in which Gore was asked how he would feel if he were to win the electoral vote but Bush were to win the popular vote. Gore proceeded to lecture Gov. Bush that he should accept the defeat because after all, we don't elect presidents by the popular vote in this country.
Funny how that interview never surfaced after election day.
