"why should all the dates coincide?"

There's only one scientific model that predicts evidence of huge water catastophes on a scale far larger than any we've experienced in recorded history. And it's not evolution, it's not even intelligent design, it's creation.

Creation says there was one global flood. Now that we are repeatedly finding evidence of these phenomenally huge water catastrophes, shouldn't we be looking a little closer at the timing?

How about plain ole' geophysics, plate tectonics, and geology?

What's so unusual about multiple, massive geological events (including various types of water catastrophes) occurring over the course of millions and billions of years?

Not quite. Evolution has a history of sudden mass extinctions and genetic bottlenecks that strongly imply a huge catastrophe. Aquatic catastrophe isn't specified, but neither could it be ruled out.

Water catastrophies: dates all over the place.

Purported global flood: 2350 BC.

Does not compute.
