I think he tried righteous anger and went into his natural paranoid state. Drugs will do that. In fact, we all get pretty nasty just from lack of sleep and too much coffee. Clinton's red face and zoned out appearance suggests something more than Starbuck's to me.
This could also be due to his heart condition. People have emotional swings often after cardiac surgery..the metabolism changes and some people react more than others.
Or maybe he just has a bi polar disorder where he gets manic ( which could also come out as rage)..that would also explain his sexual behaviors at times.
