Maybe one of our talented song parody artists could do a take-off on "Purple Haze"
Purple Rage???

I would think it should be available by Christmas. There is no doubt he is still seething over that documentary. If this is how he acted two weeks after it aired can you image what he must have been like before it???

Just to clarify, the interview with Landrieu I posted a link to is her being interviewed about Katrina, not the current mess.

not harsh at all, I meant that also, you worded it perfectly!

I heard him start to say "fault" as well. I guess he's used to saying "It's Bush's fault," just like everyone else in his party. But..but...but he said he NEVER criticized President Bush! Oh well, whatever.

Hello,
Age and health issues can absolutely reduce a person's ability to control themselves and the situation around them. Those that could scheme, lie and come out on top find a point that they no longer handle it. Without specifics, I have seen this in my own family.
Glad to be here, MOgirl

Does anyone wonder if he lost some of his touch after his health problems? Between this and the Path to 9/11 gaffe seriously makes me wonder. In both cases, he's made himself look like a big jerk and I can't decide if the issue is that the mainstream media doesn't have the kind of power they did 8 years ago to cover for him or if it's that he's just not as quick on his feet as he used to be.
Once again, you would never see Bush or Condi or Cheney completely lose their cool in an interview like this with, say, Dan Rather or Katie Couric.
And they (you can add Rumsfeld to this mix) have been interrogated much more fiercely and antagonistically (between hosts and presstitutes) than Bubba EVER was...including today.

What is so astounding is the anger that he has towards his political foes, which was far worse than his anger towards people who threatened our country.Astounding to you and I, and anyone else with a normal perspective and sense of self preservation, but rapidly becoming the most prominent characteristic of the western leftwinger. Not to mention the engine that drives the entire democratic party these days.

But..but...but he said he NEVER criticized President Bush! Oh well, whatever. Not by name anyway. He said 'they had eight months and did nothing'. Unlike himself, who was obsessed - yeah, thats it - obsessed with OBL.
I'd forgotten how much fun it was to listen to the clown parse words.

COMEDY Central's The Daily Show called it "Operation Desert Shield Me from Impeachment." Funny, but too cynical. "Operation Desert Shield ME From Impeachment"? Wow...I guess I really didn't start following politics until after 9/11...I never heard that one! And yes, it was funny, no it was not cynical. (to whoever wrote that article)

Hard to believe with the indictment of 98 and the direct message from OBL to him.

If you ask me he exposed why we did get hit on 9-11. He didn't take any threats seriously. He just issued up a lot of excuses. Uzbeckistan wouldn't give us landing rights? Come on, what was Maddie Halfbright's job, if not to go negotiate those rights......no Maddie was too busy drinking wine with the North Korean nutjob
AND running down the hallway chasing Arafat....
