when the first MODS appeared?

The Admin Mods sign up date on their profile page is 9/3/01,
but my memory is that they were around before they had the profile thing.

Why don't we ask them.

The Mods have been changed, since they were first instituted.

In the beginning, there was no religion Mod, for example.

Hopefully some MOD will see the ping and come to the thread and tell us.
