I'm curious what the AFA said to make NBC waiver. I am an evangelical Christian but I don't want NBC to pull the scene because they were threatened with a lawsuit or government reprisal like with The Path To 9/11. That is clearly a violation of free speech. But if the AFA said they were going to call for a boycott of NBC, that is perfectly legit.

Funny isn't it. With Path, Conservatives claimed people would be able to seperate truth from fiction and the audience is informed. But with this stupid MAdonna stunt, Christianity will be harmed because she choose to mock it.

Won't the same audiences that can seperate the hay from the chaffe with The Path to 9/11 be able to determine that Madonna's soul is in jeopardy?

Last week(maybe beginning of this week) I received an email from the AFA asking me to send email to NBC concerning this issue. The email provided link to site that made it very simple. Their goal was one million emails. It was NBC's right to broadcast this trash and my right to tell then that I disapproved. Finally it was their right to realize that gratuitously offending millions of people might not be good for the bottom line.

I agree with you; the AFA is getting more and more involved in stuff like that, and after a bit, nobody is going to pay attention.

The American public is getting fed up with this trash on TV; let NBC give the waiver; let the whole world see what trash they are willing to put on.
