Amazing that Bush's silence has allowed a scumbag liberal to come out and say what all Americans have been thinking over the last 2 days. We are so soft. If Bush would only get off his ass and take the offensive he could go down with greatness.

Partisanship is killing this country. Its good for both Bush and the country that the Dems are doing this. The Dems are despicable, don't get me wrong - but when we are attacked, we should all act like Americans. I believe they have their own motives for this stance (polls). But, it's good to see and certainly won't make Hoogo happy.

While I agree with you in general, I do wonder if this will not end up helping President Bush more.
If I'm a moderate democrat and my congressman or senator comes on TV defending the President, it my change my perspective slightly. Maybe make me think that the President isn't really that bad after all.
Just a thought.
