The global [UN] Club of Terror [Melanie Phillips]

Alan Dershowitz and others have recently suggested that Iran should be ejected from the United Nations. This seems to me to be the wrong way round. All civilised countries should now eject themselves from the UN. The disgraceful scenes of Ahmadinejad being treated this week as an esteemed member of the world community as he took the UN stage graphically illustrated the fact that the UN is not merely useless — it is the global Club of Terror, effectively run by, and in thrall to, tyrannies and corrupt despotisms which outnumber those member states that uphold human rights. The grotesque idea that such a body should be considered fit to arbitrate on international conflict — and even worse, be regarded as the ultimate arbiter of global legality and ethics — is the institutional reason why the world has ended up systematically rewarding aggression and ignoring or punishing its victims.

Some time ago, I wrote that the UN should be disbanded and replaced by a United Democratic Nations. Anne Bayefsky, who has done more than anyone to bring the terror and tyranny-supporting excesses of the UN to light, endorses that view in this article.

This is absurd. The UN is the only reason the world continues to rotate. Increase funding at once!

The UN is a tool of the enemy.

Get the US out of the UN, and the UN out of the US.

The OIC is the largest voting block in the UN and is the political arm of the global jihad, and its function is to serve as cover for their jihadis and protect them:

Terrorism's Silent Partner at the United Nations

Terrorism As a Right

With the Organization of the Islamic Conference defending any act committed on behalf of "national liberation," the United Nations cannot even issue an unequivocal condemnation of terrorism, let alone join the struggle to eliminate it...

The reason for this failure is that the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), which comprises fifty-six of the UN's 191 members, defends terrorism as a right...

Part of their own declared agenda includes:

1. Strengthen:
a) Islamic solidarity among Member States;
b) Cooperation in the political, economic, social, cultural and scientific fields:
c) The struggle of all Muslim people to safeguard their dignity, independence and national rights.

2. Coordinate action to:
a) Safeguard the Holy Places;
b) Support the struggle of the Palestinian people and assist them in recovering their rights and liberating their occupied territories.

No prizes for guessing what that last one means.

What we have here, is their own official to further their jihad by political and financial means, while undermining the kuffar at their own UN by voting as a block. They ignore the UN Declaration of Human rights whenever they see fit, and came up with their own rules, in effect conceding that islam is not compatible with human rights no matter how much lip service they pay to agreements.

...It is clear that Islamic militants are quite aware of the incompatibility of Islam and The 1948 Declaration of Human Rights. For these militants met in Paris in 1981 to draw up an Islamic Declaration of Human Rights which left out all freedoms that contradicted Islamic law...

In 1990 the IDHR became the "Cairo Declaration on Human Rights in Islam," and was backed by the OIC itself. Essentially, the OIC picks up the ball from the terrorists and all those "misunderstanders of Islam" trying an attempt at plausible deniability, but not doing a good job of it.

Their aim of "coordinating action" to "safeguard the Holy Places" is in effect a declaration of acting as the saud/wahhabis international political arm to keep the hijaz under wahhabi control to legitimize their vile message as the custodians of the holy sites.

The only reason they want to unity in the islamic ummah is so they can build the strength to undermine and defeat us "filthy kuffar" once and for all.

Or as they say in the islamic world, "First the Saturday people and then the Sunday people."

Melanie Phillips has an astounding clarity of mind which I admire so very much.

This seems to me to be the wrong way round. All civilised countries should now eject themselves from the UN

That is the clearest solution. Wouldn't surprise me to learn that it is being discussed. UN Conference at Durban -- wherein the left wing socipathic reps demanded that the US, Britain and Israel be branded "racist nations" (Colin Powell and delegates walked out). There is no reasoning with mad dogs. Chavez et al, have shown the world that they are mad dogs. Lacking reason, civility.. and the list goes on. (And while they natter on about being eau-so-multi-culti).

The U.N is a do nothing debating society and has been so for many years now. It was the same with the now defunct League of Nations near the end of its life.

I lost all faith in the U.N well before kofi's oilgate.

If we did leave the U.N. and start a new world democratic organisation im sure the old U.N. would insist on staying in nyc and still want us to support them...and im sure there would be democrats who would want to!
