I do not want my children to be taught religion in science class.

It is MY job as a parent to educate my children in regard to religion.

Of course the same cannot be said if one chooses to send one's children to private religious schools.

my biology teacher explained it very well. his opening statement when it came to evolution included something to the effect of "for those of you who are religious and believe in divine creation, that's fine. i don't care what you believe but the state says i have to teach the theory evolution. i really don't care if you believe it or not, but you will learn it and be graded on it."
