Just a simple point, here, but when you say:

"... and go after those that haven't filed ..."

It's easy to miss, but with the FairTax, there IS no "filing" at all. That is all gonzo - along with the IRS and the copies of the income tax forms already filed that have to be destroyed.

That will save 300,000 trees each year from now on.

when i said "filing" read the whole sentance.
transfer them [IRS agents]to border patrol to process immigration applications, and go after those that haven't filed.
i meant going after those who haven't filed immigration papers.
i figure that since they already have so much experience going after people who make little mistakes on forms, or don't send them in, they already have the experience tracking down and prosecuting, they'd be great for nailing illegal immigrants :)
after all, we don't want them all becoming bums when the IRS is dissolved, we should help them become USEFUL members of society.
