It is beyond silly to vote for somebody like Ventura or Kinky who have absolutely no qualifications to be the Chief Executive of one of these United States in such serious times as these.

People who vote for personalities shouldn't be allowed to vote.

 

To serve as Governor of Texas, a person must be at least thirty years old, a United States citizen, and a resident of Texas for at least five years preceding his or her election. These are the only legal requirements to hold the office.

Looks to me like he's qualified for the job.

Being eligible and qualified are two very different things.
