A state income tax would require the voters approving a constitutional amendment. Not likely.
Exactly. So, we will back in the same position where we were before. With the Supreme Court telling the legislature to implement a system, or they will implement one for us. The business tax isn't perfect, but NO ONE else has come up with a better fix.

Exactly. I'd love for there to be a better solution to school finance then new taxes but short of what the legislature did, the only options were a constitutional amendment creating an income tax or one that made "robin hood" to be constitutional.
