Do you know Karen, is the ceremony religous in nature?

So far, no. I think this is more of a public memorial/tribute service at his zoo. Not sure of his funeral services.

Right now they are singing about sheep, kangaroos...in typical Aussie fashion!

I liked what he did, but didn't really follow him all that much. (Odd... after being a naturalist for so many years at our local park.)

I've been catching a lot of the reruns, he was amazing. You won't regret it, especially with the work you've done with nature. He was something else.

We have kids walking around this week saying, "Krikey!" You have to laugh how he brought that word to the fore-front.

Yesterday as I was leaving school, something stirred the geese that were in the pond, near our school. Over a 100 geese took off and filled the sky.

I watched the last of them form up and head to the cornfields south of our school. (It was around 5:00 pm)

Being the last one to leave our school, it was a pleasure to just watch the geese in solitude.
