We got what we got because we wanted that. Eight years of nonstop eloquence with no substance was eight years too much. A powerful speaker will attract attention, but eventually we will have to listen to what is said rather than how it is said.

Seems guts, character, moral clarity, wisdom, christianity and following God might be the making of a man - not speech patterns. Give me George Bush any day over a slick politician who espouses the language effectively.
