Mogadishu 17, Sep. 06 ( Sh.M.Network) - Unidentified gunmen are reported to have raided Mogadishu’s SOS hospital and gunned down one of the foreign nuns in the hospital.

Reliable sources say the nun, thought to be an Italian, is confirmed dead. A bodyguard of the nun instantly died after he was fatally shot by two men reportedly armed with handguns.

Reports also indicate that the two assailants have been nabbed by armed guards within SOS hospital.

Six other suspects have also arrested as one of the Islamic Courts leaders Sheik Yusuf Indho-adde told reporters.

The motive of the attack remains unknown.

There has been a call for a demonstration against Pope Benedict XVI comment’s on Islam that sparked anger in all Muslim world by some Somali educated clerics. However, it is clearly not known if this fatal attack has anything to do with that.

This is the first time an Italian in SOS Somalia has been shot dead. The report over SOS attack is still sketchy as no reporters are allowed entry to SOS compound.

If I were to hazard a guess, their motto would be, "Sisters, lock, load and make them holy!"

The CNN' website story on this writes it in such a way as the "Pope is a Suspect in the Murder of a Nun" You can not make this stuff up!

The ignorance and inhumanity of Mo's death cult on display...again.

I've had enough of this nonsense from the Islamic "leadership". They need to condemn this killing, not explain it away, or otherwise forfeit any consideration by civilised society.

The Lakota had an interesting technique of staking an enemy to the ground and building a small campfire on his bare chest.

That kind of punishment would take some of the fun out of being a Muslim murderer of innocents.

Jimmy Carter, The Clintons and friends would never stand for this, even if saved 100's or 1,000's of innocent lives at a later time.

Cowards. Bill Maher will probably call them heroes. The silence from the world's religious and secular leaders is horrendous.

...except for PM Merkel..She's the only one on the secular side with a pair.

Oh, no. And the Pope basically apologized, which I wish he hadn't done.

He was quoting a 14th century philosopher. These monsters just look for an excuse to riot and kill.

"The Pope Benedict is a political figure."

Heck, all this time I have thought of him as a spiritual leader.

He is a leader who has spoken the truth, unlike the Chamberlain type girly boys who are wimpish political leaders in so many countries today.

No Peach, I dont' think he apologized for what he quoted. He said he regrets the reactions those words have prompted. IOW, he's said he regrets the quote made their heads explode.

I haven't read anywhere that he said "I'm sorry I read that".

Have you?

It occurs to me that your observation could apply with equal accuracy to the political left.
