Only in Britian can you be fined by the police for cursing at the habitual vandals and hooligans they refuse to deal with and jailed for defending your home and property from vicious thugs in the middle of the night after you've been robbed five times already.
Yes, and just try to defend yourself with ANYTHING that can be construed as a weapon in your own home and see what happens. The Right of Self Defence does not exist in Britain.
