A few drunk friends and I were riding an elevator in a downtown Chicago hotel (we were there for a wedding reception). The door opens, and in walks Isiah Thomas (the Pistons were in town). One of my friends, after staring at him for a while . . . "Say, did you go to Wayne State?" The rest of us proceeded to do our best not to crack up.
