(KSDK) - The family of Abigale Lynn "Abby" Woods said she has been found safe and police say a woman has been arrested in connection with her disappearance.

The baby was found near the intersection of Yellow Dog Road and Highway 47 late Tuesday afternoon.

A woman who lives near the scene said she was driving home from work when she discovered the road to her home was closed.

Carol Wischmeyer said she pulled up to the intersection and saw several emergency vehicles. She said she saw a man holding a baby wrapped in blankets who told her she couldn't go down the street.
