If he would have been a man and faced his charges in Mexico this would have been moot.
What type of Judge, even a Mexican one would send a man to prison for capturing a rapist.
JMO, Chapman should have faced the Mexican charges and IMO would have been acquitted, but we will never know since he cowardly skipped bail and dug himself a deeper hole.
Also, Dog's son and brother are involved. Maybe he didn't want to drag them back to face "Mexican justice".
One who doesn't like Gringos? Plenty of PRIista judges who fit that description, even more PRIista wardens and guards. Skipping bail in Mexico might have been a smart thing. Mexican jails are the pits, and you have to pay your own way. They don't provide food for the prisoners for example, they expect their families to do that. Same with clothing, bedding, etc. I've seen one Mexican prison, from a distance. It didn't look like anyplace I'd send, well a Dog, to.
It could really go hard for a Gringo who'd embarrassed the federales. Even for a misdemeanor. Much better to jump bail, and take your chances with the US justice system.
Right. Does everyone on earth not know that the Mexican government is hopelessly corrupt? There is no justice in Mexico. And if something else were not involved, it would not have taken the federales so long to pull this off. Dog has been the most highly-rated show on A&E for 3 years. What does that tell you? It should tell you that this is beind-the-scenes politics. The question you should be asking is why? And why now? Personally, I vote that we offer a trade: Dog, Tim and Leeland for, let's say, 10,000 illegal immigrants that Mexico can have back.
You know as much about the Mexican justice system as the Pirates do about winning baseball games.
