One thing is for sure. Savage is going to be playing some of this man's brilliance on one of his shows. I'll be sure to tune in. Heck, he may be lurking as we speak, aye?
I'd be a bit unhinged if I lived in SF too. Many of these people make it because they are self promoting. Heck, if he wasn't he would have been gone long ago.

In the tape, San Francisco Police Officers' Association Gary Delagnes delivers a blistering condemnation of local media & judges following the death of Officer Nick-Tomasito Birco on July 26 when a van involved in a chase hit his cruiser & flipped it onto the sidewalk. The career criminal who killed Officer Birco had a rap sheet a mile long, had two felonies & a motion to revoke bail outstanding, and yet another judge had recently let him go with low bail before he went out to commit yet another armed robbery & killed Birco.
Birco's family hadn't yet even had a chance to lay him to rest, when local media actually started to blame the dead cop for his own death, suggesting he shouldn't have even been chasing the crook. Delagnes nails the SF press for not even bothering to question why it is that local nutjob judges kept unleashing such a dangerous predator loose upon the community over & over again.
It's quite an extraordinary press conference. Every police association should have such a powerful advocate.
Too bad it had to be the union guy. I guess the chief is hiding under the desk.

Well said leilani! He also pointed out that if the people of San Francisco don't want them chasing robbery suspects, they'll be happy to sit around the stations until they're called! He really told it like it is! Sure wish more of the media had picked up on this!
I wish this guy would take his act on the road & make this a national campaign against irresponsible judges.
