I wasnt aware that they had gun control in canada.... In fact, I thought people had more guns per capita in canada than the states.

The cops are all running around on scene....definitely not a Code 4 yet.

Per AP:
Student...said he saw a man in military fatigues storm the school's cafeteria and that he heard about 20 shots fired. Other witnesses said the man wore a black trench coat. He also said teachers ran through the halls telling students to get out.

I didn't say it was a good way to prevent crime. Lord knows if you want a gun, you are going to get one. I think it goes without saying that when you ban something that can cause harm, injuries and deaths will go down, but that isn't reason to ban them. Less knives would mean less cuts etc.

Police cover a body after a shooting at Dawson College in Montreal, Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006. A gunman dressed in military fatigues opened fire Wednesday in the cafeteria of the college and wounded an unknown number of people before shooting himself, witnesses and police said. Dozens of students at Dawson College near downtown fled into the surrounding streets after the shooting broke out in the school of about 3,000. (AP Photo/CP, Peter McCabe) Email Photo Print Photo

The situation may be under control
according to police.
One gunman has been neutralized.
There may only have been one.

Gun control laws result in just the criminals being armed with no opportunity for law abiding citizens to defend themselves!

Please ignore my tagline on previous post - not intended for these photos.

I know that. These shooters had handguns which are suppose to be outlawed in Canada, especially in the frecnh part of Canada.

My post 148 above makes it pretty clear there's at least 1 dead - where are you getting the "none dead" info?
To: LikeLight
I saw that dead body live from the helo feed....
To: 1rudeboy
But you do realize that if a long-gun is involved, then Canada's gun laws have no bearing on this event whatsoever?ALL firearms are required to be registered in Canada, as well as a license being required for any citizen who owns a gun.

These folks said no deaths right when you posted that picture. I dare say you are the correct party.
To: Allan
6 in critical... 2 suspects killed... Police searching for between 1 and 3 more suspects... One suspect was a 22 year old...
Per FoxNews with reporter on scene
To: Allan
Interesting, as of 3:08 pm CBC has scaled back it '4 dead' coverage from an hour ago :
2 gunmen dead after Montreal college shooting
Surprised CBC isn't concerned its use of the term 'gunmen' might offend some idiot somewhere!
