They are much like the ACLU. They have conservatives and liberals as members and are a Islamic fraternity of a sort. They act a bit bipolar as a result.

Their primary purpose is political power, and funneling money, favors and networking. I don't think they actually believe they are enablers, but they do it....and a lot more. When in a group, they are dangerous...no matter what the ideology IMO.

I hope the Feds have them well covered.
