Especially in Iran. Look at the history of Iran, just since the past 50 years or so. Personally, I have great hope for the people of Iran. The "revolution" against the Shah didn't pan out the way it was supposed to, revolutions seldom ever do. The Persian people are intelligent and the majority are well-educated - always a plus when fighting a totalitarian regime. The highly educated, upper classes left a long time ago, unfortunately.
