IIRC, they never officially declared war, there's no country we can 'fight', our laws don't account for terrorists organizations. No uniform, no Geneva conventions, etc. We're at a crossroads with our rules of law until they are changed. That's part of the dems talking point, and part of the reason why nothing is being done. The dems heads are in the sand.

In other words, we need a stronger, conservative majority in the senate and house. Until we have 70 real conservatives in the senate, we're screwed.
