Actually, I would love to be a wall in the room where the executives are meeting to discuss what to do...
Since its never been run as a for profit division, im sure its the same.."people are talking about us so its all good" mindset. "Its important that we stay the course". heheheaahhahhaaa
"Actually, I would love to be a wall in the room where the executives are meeting to discuss what to do..."
I would be very interested to see what would happen if a MSM decided to do a 180 and everything that was liberal is now conservative.
I bet there would be very wealthy stockholders.
I wonder how many hundreds of million dollars it will take to buy her out of her contract. I suppose the other option is to have her do the news naked or something.
That's an easy one, they'll determine the reason for the slide is she's being too nice and not asking the tough questions of Bush. They will say, hey we have to stop being cowed by this administration and stop acting like we're the propoganda arm of the West Wing. We need to take off the kid gloves and lay bare all of the lies, obsfucation and tell the American people the truth...this President is a threat to our security.
Then they can sit back and watch their ratings climb. (sarcasm off)
Apparently the CBS higher-ups forgot to watch her coverage of the 9-11 attack before they signed her up.
This morning I watched on MSNBC the rebroadcast of NBC's coverage on 9/11. Couric was appallingly bad --- emotionless grave tone (apparently demonstrating range --- as opposed to "perky"), making comments void of perception and historical depth. To give you an idea of how bad it was, Matt Lauer had to carry the commentary til Brokaw arrived.
NO ONE will turn to NBC at a time of critical breaking news (as opposed to the "we-caught-JonBenet's-killer" kind) with her at the helm.
