It appears really the ONLY thing that was cut out was Berger hanging up.
I read an article that described the scene and the entire Berger shutting down the kill OBL scene is effectively intact except for that.

And this makes DU go berserk.
Agree. Two things came out blindingly clear:
1. The Clinton adminstration was focused WAY too much on how they would be viewed politically than on protecting American lives.
2. The terrorists are relentless monsters who do not discriminate between Democrat and Republican and who absolutely will not stop no matter how nice we are to them.
Of course, the DUmmies hear none of this. They want to toke up without fear of arrest, they want free healthcare, housing education, etc. paid for by everyone else's wages, they want a "gaia free of the human scourge", they want all firearms banned, they want at-will looting of anyone who has more than they, etc. It's worth reading some of the posts on DU, if you can stand the profanity. They don't care about stopping terrorists, and if asked to help stop them, would run the other way. They are cowards, as the man in the film described the people in Washington. It's a common trait.
But it WAS done and THAT is the problem; well, part of it!
