Well, this was really good in my opinion.
The only really, really significant edit was the Cole.
The writer said that was one of his main criticisms and was a major thread in the film. Probably 15 minutes, maybe more, got cut on the Cole.
But, this was still a very strong film.
Despite the minor edit with Berger only looking tentatative and saying he had no authority rather than hanging up the phone, it still made the Clinton admin look terrible.
This was NOT pleasant for the Dems. Not pleasant at all.

The cut of the Cole is so obvious. I'm surprised, that was a huge terrorist event. Was it one of Clinton's main criticism's? Did Clinton want that cut?
And I understand the second half tomorrow will not be pleasant for the Republicans.
I think that was just a 'flash forward' to end the show.
Just a guess......
Considering the usual bias of the MSM, I think ABC did a very creditable job of skewering Clinton and Co. Sure brought back a lot of bad memories and frustrations about Clinton, Albright, Berger, Reno and the rest of those spineless wonders.
No. But it was the truth: bin Laden was at war with us...and the Clinton administration did nothing.
Undeniable, inescapable fact. No "edit" can change that fact.
And why do news outlets say this did not happen?

i.e: The most negative chatter and consternation has been leveled at a scene during Part 1 of "Path to 9/11" that finds bin Laden surrounded by Northern Alliance and U.S. troops in Afghanistan in 1998. They were waiting for the final go-ahead to snatch their quarry. But it never comes. We see Clinton administration figures wussing out over fear of fallout should things go wrong, and the president too enmeshed in the Monica Lewinsky scandal to care. It's agreed that this specific event never actually took place. As ABC said in its statement, "for dramatic and narrative purposes, the movie contains fictionalized scenes, composite and representative characters and dialogue."
Why did they cut the Cole?
"Well, this was really good in my opinion. "
I thought so too. My younger son was miffed at the "to be continued"!
He's learning some things from this. I fully intend to have him watch the rest tomorrow night.
I missed the first hour, I'm assuming that was when the USS Cole incident would have been.
