I do hope that ABC gets blockbuster ratings for this show, especially if they manned up and didn't make major edits because of the Democrat pressure.
Just a case of early onset senility on this end.
If I recall correctly the Dems got to pick the people on their side of the aisle for the commission.

Hi, McGavin. Mr. P is watching a football game in the other room so I'm taping the movie for him and will watch with freepers while I'm in the study (which does have a small tv, thankfully).
Let's hope this movie is as it's been portrayed and we haven't all been played.

Ironically, I actually read her book about Hillary Clinton before 9-11, but didn't realize she was on one of the flights until I joined Free Republic. I've read it a couple times since, and her insight on Clinton was amazing.
Barbara was one special lady with a wonderful talent, and is greatly missed.

I think it sick that the rest of the world sees it uncut and WE have to see the edited version because Klinton DEMANDS IT ! we should be ashamed that we didnt try hard enough to to protest this outrage. The dem/Liberal morons had 200 thousand signatures in 2 days. We better learn to organize and fight or else the Lib loonies will have control of all we see.
Hopefully, some of you out there can copy them and preserve them for posterity, should they be pulled again. I'm sure there's a phalanx of Clinton lawyers working over ABC right now .. up to the moment it starts.
Breathtakingly RAW and real ... The scene of the real BillyBubba giving his excrutiating description of "no sex" in dramatic juxtaposition to the desperate futility of the troops waiting to get OBL .. well, you feel the nausea and disgust for those poor troops, risking all ... the message is CLEAR.
God bless our brave troops and keep them from ever having to be in the chain of command of such a despicable CIC again.

Your post brought to mind something I was just researching the other day about the Spanish-American War and the Philippines. Most folks probably know this but in case not, here it is.

For that reason, one weekend while his boss John D. Long was away, Roosevelt used his authority as Assistant Secretary of the Navy to cable Commodore George Dewey, the officer in control of the US Asiatic Squadron then docked at Hong Kong harbor, with orders that if the US and Spain went to go to war, Dewey was to immediately attack the Spanish fleet at Manila, the capital of the Philippines. Roosevelt gave these orders without Long's knowledge (and probably against Long's will) on February 25, 1898. Dewey figured something was fishy about these strange orders, and so double-checked the orders with McKinley. Strangely, McKinley, who had previously been agonizing over whether to go with war with Spain over Cuba, approved the surprise attack against the Spanish in the Philippines."
Not that I disagree with your post; I don't, but I thought this an interesting event in our history of war.
