ABC.com shows no change in schedule timing, meaning they plan to trim the showing by the length of the Presidential Address.

Or, refuse his request to show his speech.

They will just run the show late and have the evening news run late.
DO you actually think they will cut short this cash cow because the president is speaking?
update: Although ABC.com schedule hasn't changed, DirecTV's has. It now shows for Monday night:

Originally, the time shown was a full five hours. It would appear that 3 minutes have been trimmed. The last I heard that sounded it came from ABC was that they would trim the scenes that "put words in the mouth of real people that were never spoken by those real people". If so, as we've been treated to the "offending" scenes repeatedly on news channels, the uproar will have little effect other than to boost viewership by those inclined to buy into the story line and cut viewership (perhaps) by those who are not.
Almost seems like the mouse went for the cheese to me.
