The difference is the Reafan miniseries had nothing of substance and nothing about history and was about his family with lies and half truths every few minutes.
If they did a miniseries about the Clintons and blasted Chelsea and made up stuff about her I'd be as upset and think it was unfair as what CBS was going to do to the Reagans.
Attacking a man's family (the Reagan miniseries) is much different than a man's actions.
