Reid is Senate Minority Leader, not Senate Democratic Leader ... why would his sign anything that way?

He signed it as the leader of the dem party

It makes him sound more important then he is

I saw that .... not a particularly bright move, but probably trying to keep away from his official title as "Minority Leader" or trying not to think of himself and his party as we pray they stay, the minority ;)
