Oh lordy Howlin- you just reminded me of Inauguration Day 2001...remember when he just WOULDN'T leave the airplane hangar? It went on for hours..endlessly.

It's still going on.

Then it was funny..in a pitiful sort of way.

Now it's chilling..

Those was a glorious day. I had a gray ticket for viewing the Inaugural. (I was the one with the raincoat, standing in the mud)

I have so many memories of that day.

The howls from the crowd when we heard the names of the people who got pardoned, the instantaneous singing of Naa-Naa, Naa-Naa-Naa-Naa, Hey, hey, hey Good-bye when Clinton helicopter flew over our heads going back to the WH for the final time.

It was something I will never forget.
