What murtha seems to have forgotten along time ago, Semper Fi is not an option.
As all vets here know. There are 6 Codes of Conduct pertaining to service men and women becoming POWs. Although murtha is not currently a POW i like this statement. It is part of Article 5 "I will make no oral or written statements disloyal to my country and its allies or harmful to their cause."
I know for a fact the POWs of past wars have been imprisoned once they were returned to the US for breaking this rule.. So why not congressmen.
murtha made oral and written statements. Obviously disloyal to the United States Military. Harmful to their cause? When I was in Iraq. 90% of all people had a satellite dish. And the could all pick up a translated CNN, Fox News and MSNBC. You think they didn't hear murtha's comments. They pay attention just like we do. Had Murtha not come out like this. Most Iraqis probably would have never known about the incident. Yes, Id say it was harmful to our mission. Any thing that infuriates the enemy and emboldens them more I think should be considered harmful

Most Iraqis probably would have never known about the incident. Which is why al-Murthawi had to make sure that they did. Thanks for your input.
So why not congressmen.
Yes, why not?
