A couple weekends back, Chris Matthews (I think) was talking to Tim Russert, and they were getting all worked up about how the MSM is NOT slanting the news from Iraq.

You know, after someone says something like that,(I think Russert also recently said that the reports from New Orleans turned out to be true) how is it possible to take them seriously ever again?

Do you think they really believe this crap, or do they just say it because it fits the template?
