The "liberals" in this country are anything but in the classical sense of the word. "Liberal" in a true sense is someone who believes in individual rights and free market capitalism. Nowadays the term has been redefined as "neo-liberalism." If you hear some overseas dictator yelling about "liberals" or "neo-liberals" they're usually taking about free market capitalists.

Sure they are!
The Mullahs are as conservative as you get!
But this does not get in the way of the Liberal culture's desire to destroy Bush. They will align with anyone who can further this goal, hence their apparent alignment with the hezbolla "freedom fighters".
Not really unusual. Conservatives have aligned with trash to achieve political goals in the same fashion in the past and present..
