When my wife pointed this out to me from another forum she frequents, it was the first I had heard about this. This is terrible and unimaginable! Having children myself, and one on the way, that will be 23 weeks very soon. I couldn't imagine having the baby come early, fighting for its life, only to have the hospital deciding to end its life. That "ethics" committee all belong in jail for conspiracy to commit murder!
If you take a look at my
(gulp!) post #666, you can see one of the battles we have before us. A check of our past threads will disclose quite a few cases of how the bioethicists embrace death as if it were a goal. One of those situations even happened to a close friend, about which I posted a couple months or so back. It has become unnervingly commonplace.
We even created a new term for it, "bioethicking", a catch phrase for murder.
I hope we can find more details and updating including ways to contact Chris and Stephanie. Some on our Terri Legacy List thread may wish to step in and see what can be done and some have already started.
