On the matter of having individual posts pulled or having threads either locked or pulled, since when does anyone believe that individual posters have that much power?....
As I understand it, if someone finds a particular post offensive, they hit the abuse button and explain why they think a particular post is offensive, and does not belong on FR, as it violates FR guidelines...the moderator, then reads the abuse report, looks at the individual post in question, and the appointed moderator makes a judgement call...
Let me say this, and unfortunately I will capitalize the whole thing...I say unfortunately, as I have always looked upon posting in caps, to be a sign of hysteria, or insecurity or just plain rude shouting...I am explaining here, that I am putting the following sentence in caps only, for pure emphasis...
THE MODERATOR ALONE, DECIDES WHETHER OR NOT A PARTICULAR POST SHALL BE DELETED AND PULLED, OR WHETHER OR NOT A PARTICULAR THREAD IS PULLED...
As I understand it, the moderators have a difficult enough job, trying to ensure that FR presents a good face, and a fine reputation on the internet...and as such, their job is a delicate balance, as to what is and what is not acceptable...
For anyone to think that individual posters have the power to have posts pulled and deleted, and to have threads locked or pulled, is just plain goofy...its the mods that do the hard work here, lets give them credit, where credit is due...

Yup. As far as I know, no individual poster can pull threads here. That's the moderator's job, and it's a thankless one.
