Salem, OR (LifeNews.com) -- Oregon is the only state in the nation to have legalized assisted suicide, but don't call the grisly practice by that name anymore. The state's health department has decided to change the wording of the phrase when referring to the state law -- a move that has pro-life advocates up in arms.
The Oregon Department of Human Services has determined that it will begin referring to "physician assisted suicide" as "physician assisted death" on official reports.

Yesterday I listened to a hospital advertisement on radio. Its pitch was, doctors are doing heart surgery today that was considered impossible a mere ten years ago. They are using computer planning and robotic aids and micro-surgery and less invasive techniques.
It occurred to me that the death cultists, who style themselves "progressives," are in full rebellion AGAINST medical progress. It is they who gloss over every advance in medicine. It is they who declare that further care is futile. They just want to kill people. But medicine marches on, and that brings hope to future Terri Schiavos.
