CAIRO, Egypt Sep 18, 2006 (AP)— Al-Qaida in Iraq and its allies warned Pope Benedict XVI on Monday that he and the West were "doomed" and proclaimed that the holy war would continue until Islam dominates the world.

....."You infidels and despotic, we will continue our jihad (holy war) and never stop until God avails us to chop your necks and raise the fluttering banner of monotheism when God's rule is established governing all people and nations," the statement said........

Good thing they are not all active extremists.

I agree. It concerns me however when the supposedly moderate ones use the word "but" when moderators ask them about their opinion of "jihad." They turn the questioning back to the reading of the Koran.....which "infidels" shouldn't have to read to interpret their idea of right and wrong.
