The West could have stopped Hitler in 1936 at the cost of at most a few thousand dead. By waiting until 1939 the cost rose to 55 million. Something to think about the next time the UN calls for more diplomacy in dealing with Iran.

Hitler couldn't sleep he was so nervous when he ordered his troops into the Rhineland. Then the French didn't do a damn thing.
