The definition of what a planet was updated. Nothing changed. Pluto is still up there.

Newton was in fact an Arian. He denied the divinity of Christ.Arius did not deny the divinity of Christ so why would one of his followers? The answer of course is that Newton didn't deny the divinity of Christ while he certainly questioned Trinitarian doctrine at certain points of his life. But there were many Christians extant before Trinitarian doctrine ever existed. IOW's the two are not mututally exclusive, that being a belief in the divinity of Jesus of Nazareth and being agnostic on the trinity are not two inputs to an exor gate.

When are we going to have a Christian Evolution thread. I got a new book on the reformation and it talks about the evolution of Christianity over the centuries.

Is "The Origin of Species" about the origin of species, or about their changing over time? Puzzling title, considering most Darwinists argue that Darwin wasn't talking about the "origin," but the "evolution" of species.... Darwin used "The Origin of Species" because he didn't have the work to describe the subject of his book
Speciation: The development of new biological species, or the causes of this process (1907)

To get a 1% level of confidence you have to sample an extremely large number of people. That's to within a 1% level of confidence.
You can get 1% confidence with the results of a survey by polling a quite small number of people.

Captain Queeg: Ahh, but the strawberries that's... that's where I had them. They laughed at me and made jokes but I proved beyond the shadow of a doubt and with... geometric logic... that a duplicate key to the wardroom icebox DID exist, and I'd have produced that key if they hadn't of pulled the Caine out of action. I, I, I know now they were only trying to protect some fellow officers...

My father said that you have free will, but God knows what decision you'll make.
Like a Greek oracle. If you know about it, and try to avoid it, you'll end up making it happen.
